Business 101: What Do The Terms B2B, B2C, And Industry Mean?

There are some basics about business that most business owners are afraid to admit that they really don’t know or understand.  Well, here at 2BH we’re going to give you the answers to the questions you might have been too embarrassed to ask.

  • B2B – Stands for “Business to Business.” Your business is involved in “B2B” if you sell goods or services to another business.

  • B2C – Stands for “Business to Consumer.” Your business is involved in “B2C” if you sell goods or services directly to the individual end user.

  • Industry – Your industry is the category that describes all similar businesses as yours. Examples: public utilities, investment securities, banking, insurance, real estate, etc.
