3 Examples Of Actually Insane Leaders

King Charles VI of France

We know that probably half of our readers are very happy with the results of our presidential election yesterday and probably half of you are very disappointed.

We just want to give you a reminder that the worst U.S. leaders are nothing compared with some of the leaders who have led other countries in the past.

3 Examples of Actually Insane Leaders

1.      King Charles VI of France: He who ruled from 1380 to 1422 and was literally crazy. He thought he was made of glass, and was constantly afraid that he would suddenly shatter into many pieces.

2.      Ludwig II became king of Bavaria, in 1864: During his reign, Ludwig II spent just about all of his personal finances constructing fairy tale castles. Don’t only did he do this, but Ludwig was painfully shy.  He hardly spent any time governing his people and had a really bad fear of public speaking

3.      Emperor Caligula: He tried to make his favorite horse “Galloper” a priest and consul. He also ordered a beautiful marble stable built for “Galloper”, which was made with chairs and couches. For some reason “Galloper” never sat on them!
