LeVar Burton’s Kickstarter Campaign To Bring “Reading Rainbow” Back
To stick with the theme today of “making a difference in peoeple’s lives through busiiness” I thought I’d share this with you.
LeVar Burton is a man known by the many different roles he has played on television.
To one generation he is best known as Kunta Kinte, from ROOTS, to another generation he is best known as Geordi La Forge, from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and to still another generation he is known best as the host of Reading Rainbow.

Reading Rainbow made a huge impact on the lives of many kids from June 6. 1983 until November 10, 2006.
Since the show ended, LeVar has brought Reading Rainbow back as an app.
Now he has bigger plans.
He has started a Kickstarter campaign with the goal of bringing the show back as a web show and allowing it to be used freely by schools.
