The Peanuts Movie Review and an Inspirational Charlie Brown Story

I’ve told you before that we purposely don’t just post business-oriented articles on this site.

Why?

Because there is more to your life than business!

You have a family, hobbies, passions, etc.

With that in mind, I have two things that are related to The Peanuts Movie for you today:

1. A Review of The Peanuts Movie

I waited around until after school was over today to pick up my middle son and take him to go see “The Peanuts Movie”.

(Both of his other brothers were going to see it with their two friends who are also brothers.)

I saw one really negative review about the movie , so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not.

But I actually thought it was really good!

I liked the new style of animation and I thought the story was good and had all of the elements that I loved about the old cartoons.

I also liked that they didn’t try to modernize it too much or give the characters some new, cooler, bad attitudes.

My 12 year old son liked it too!

So if you’re looking to go a see a good, clean, family-oriented movie, you should go see this!

2. The True Story of the REAL Charlie Brown

I put up a post today on my site RecessionSolution.com called The Link Between Passion and Success: The True Story of the REAL Charlie Brown.

Here’s an excerpt…

There was once a young boy who went by the nick-name “Sparky.”

School was almost impossible for Sparky.

He failed every subject in the 8th grade.

He flunked physics, Latin, algebra and English when he was in high school.

He didn’t do any better in sports.

He finally managed to make the school golf team, but he lost the only important match of the year.

There was a consolation match and he lost that, too.

All through school, Sparky was socially awkward.

He wasn’t actually disliked by the other kids; just ignored!

He was surprised if any kid ever said “hi” to him outside of school…
