BBH Feature: True Confessions – Look away from me. I am ashamed! (Humor)

Look away from me! I am ashamed! I can’t believe I did it!

But I did it.

I have said, “I won’t be a pet owner who buys a ‘dog stroller’ to push my dog around in!”

I’ve even said, “I won’t put our dog in a little sweater!”

But I slipped up yesterday and crossed a line I never meant to cross.

It happened like this…

We’ve been taking our dog Flash, our dog we’ve had for just two months, on the morning car ride to drop my boys off at school in Pacifica.

(He loves the ride, but whines when the boys get out of the car.)

So after I drop them off, I’ve been taking him on a walk on a cement path that goes along the ocean right there at Linda Mar. (He enjoys it and it’s good for me.)

Anyway, what happens next is what leads to the “shameful event.”

Before I go on the walk with Flash, I sometimes stop by the Starbucks right there and grab a coffee on the walk.

Well, yesterday I went to grab my coffee and I remembered something I saw a friend on Facebook post about the day before.

So I did it….

I got Flash a “Puppuccino.”

(What is it? I found out it’s a cup of whipped cream for the dog.)

I won’t justify it, but I will say this, It was FREE. So at least I didn’t spend any money on the dog for something extravagant! Right?

Ok, I know. It doesn’t make it right. Lines were still crossed.

So I’ll understand if you leave this website right now and never return.

To those who are still here: thank you for overlooking my shame and understanding that we all have moments of weakness.

P.S. I didn’t let Flash eat the whole thing. But he loved what he ate! 🙂

P.P.S. I will never put my dog in a sweater. But I MIGHT put him in a three-piece suit. But ONLY if there’s a good matching hat to go with it. And only if we’re going to a fancy event.

P.P.P.S. This isn’t on the Starbucks regular menu. It’s an item on the “Starbucks Secret Menu.”
