Business 101: What Do The Terms Firm, Corporation, And Enterprise Mean?

There are some basics about business that most business owners are afraid to admit that they really don’t know or understand.

Well, here at 2BH we’re going to give you the answers to the questions you might have been too embarrassed to ask.

Here are the terms for today:

Firm is a term used to describe a commercial partnership between two or more people – especially applicable when they are unincorporated.

Corporation is an incorporated business that is a its own legal entity, separate from its owners.

Enterprise is any diligent and systematic activity done by a business organization, which is directed toward profit.
