Vintage Store In San Jose Offers A Unique Selection Of 1940-1980s Styles
“Joann Perez always loved vintage better than what’s happening now. As a San Francisco teenager in the late 1960s and early ’70s, when the cool kids dressed like hippies, radicals, surfers and rock stars, she looked like a bobby-soxer from the 1950s or a film-noir starlet from the 1940s. And she paid the social price for looking out of step.
“‘All my friends thought I was weird, but I didn’t care,’ she said Saturday during the grand opening of her new San Jose store, Time Zone Vintage.”
